Solistė: Line Kruse (smuikas, Danija)

Ar esate kada vienu metu buvoję Buenos Airėse, Kubos paplūdimiuose, Paryžiuje ir dar Kopenhagoje? Ar šios vietos ir jose klestinčios muzikinės kultūros turi ką nors bendra? Tikrai taip! Kauno bigbendo ir Danų džiazo žvaigždės Line Kruse programoje „Hidden Stone“ karaliauja Pietų Amerikos ritmai, prancūziškas subtilumas ir skandinaviškas skonis, suderintas harmoningame muzikos kaleidoskope.

Line Kruse – pasaulio publikai gerai pažįstama danų kompozitorė ir smuikininkė, garsėjanti meistriškomis improvizacijomis ir nauja bigbendo skambesio interpretaciją. Gimusi ir užaugusi Danijoje, ji baigė Karališkąją Danijos konservatoriją Kopenhagoje. Vėliau mokytis smuiko meno paslapčių ji išvyko į Paryžių, kur atrado Lotynų Amerikos džiazo bendruomenę ir regino muzikinius lobius. Iš jų pasisėmusi įkvėpimo, Line Kruse atrado savitą džiazo stilių, kuris jai atvėrė duris į daugiakultūrę Paryžiaus, o vėliau – ir viso pasaulio scenas.

Kompozicijose Line Kruse derina Pietų Amerikos, džiazo ir danų muzikos tradicijas, jas išradingai apjungia į mirgantį kaip pasaulis audinį. Nors į džiazo ansamblį įtraukti smuiką nėra naujiena, tačiau Line atrado būdą kaip nauja spalva suderinti, atrodo, visiškai kontrastingus styginių instrumentų ir bigbendo tembrus. Visą tai ji pademonstravo albume „Hidden Stone“, kurį kartu su Kauno bigbendu pristato ir Lietuvos klausytojams

Have you ever been to Buenos Aires, the beaches of Cuba, Paris and Copenhagen at the same time? Do these places and the musical cultures that thrive in them have anything in common? Really so! In the “Hidden Stone” program of the Kaunas big band and Danish jazz star Line Kruse, South American rhythms, French delicacy and Scandinavian taste reign in harmony in a harmonious musical kaleidoscope.

Line Kruse is a Danish composer and violinist well known to the world audience, famous for her masterful improvisations and a new interpretation of the big band sound. Born and raised in Denmark, she graduated from the Royal Danish Conservatory in Copenhagen. Later, she traveled to Paris to learn the secrets of the violin art, where she discovered the Latin American jazz community and saw musical treasures. Taking inspiration from them, Line Kruse discovered her own jazz style, which opened the door for her to the multicultural scenes of Paris and later the world.

In her compositions, Line Kruse combines the traditions of South American jazz and Danish music, ingeniously combining them into a fabric that shimmers like the world. Although the inclusion of the violin in a jazz ensemble is nothing new, Line has found a way to bring together the seemingly contrasting timbres of string instruments and big band in a new color. She demonstrated all this in the album “Hidden Stone”, which she presents to Lithuanian listeners together with the Kaunas Big Band.
